I/N Tek and I/N Kote

In March 1990, Nippon Steel started operation of a joint venture corporation I/N Tek with the US Corporation Inland Steel for the purpose of forming cold-rolled steel sheets by consignment. Also, in October 1991, Nippon Steel commenced operation of a joint venture corporation I/N Kote with the Inland Steel for manufacturing and selling surface-treated steel sheets. In both cases the companies chose to work with Communication Company and Siemens as their fire alarm protection system.
